This is a very interesting local grape variety from Ribera Del Duero. Very elegant on the palate with nice complexity.
This 3 year old is still young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
I had the 2021 vintage not too long ago, and this is drinking much better already.
Good right out of the bottle, tasty and good by itself or with food.
100% Albillo Mayor grapes were aged in 45% oak barrels, and the rest in concrete and clay Amphora vats. A small production of less than 7,000 bottles. This is bottle number 5353.
