Viña Santa Rita Cabernario No. 8 Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Maipo Valley, Chile

Inky in color with a short purple rim.

Fruity nose of black currants, cooked plums, figs, light oak, vanilla, earth, chocolates, tobacco leaf and coffee.

Full bodied and bold with medium acidity.

Very dry on the palate with blackberries, black plums, oak, spices, tobacco leaf, chocolates, light vegetables, coffee and peppercorn.

Spicy finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. Still young, but already enjoyable, even right out of the bottle.

Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and show the tannins.

This Single Vineyard Cabernet is nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and bold with a teeth staining color.

Good by itself or with food. Will pair nicely with BBQ Meats.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

14% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$20.
