Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi California Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, California 83

My Rating 83 Points.

Price $6.
Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Light nose of blackberries, metals, wood, licorice, spices, dark chocolates and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry to off dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, currants, toasted oak, spices, peppercorn and chocolates.

Short finish with soft tannins and black pepper.

This is a simple Cabernet for everyday consumption. Nicely balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.
Nothing special here, but a good party wine. For a bulk wine, it’s not bad at all.

I paired it with hard cheeses and sweedish meatballs.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
