Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, plums, oak, cloves, vanilla, spices, espresso, smoke, mocha, earth and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, sweet strawberries, oak, vanilla, cloves, smoke, peppercorn and spices.
Medium finish with soft tannins, tangy cranberries and black pepper.
This is a simple Malbec from Mendoza. Well balanced and better with food. Needs 2 hours to open up properly. A good everyday red wine.
I had this vintage last year, and this time it’s a little better.
