Pale lemon in color with a green tint.

Strong nose of gooseberry, citrus, limes, light grapefruits, grass, light earth and minerals.

Medium-bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green apples, grapefruits, light gooseberries, light vegetables and spices.

Spicy and tangy finish with limes and light almonds.

This is a nice and straightforward Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Easy drinking, tangy and nicely balanced.

Crisp and refreshing with mild complexity.

Good by itself, and will also pair nicely with fresh seafood dishes.

I paired it with a nice day by the beach.

Pale lemon in color.

Fruity nose of lemons, green apples, grapefruits, spices and minerals.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green apples and grapefruits.

This is a very tasty Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Not very complex, but easy drinking even by itself.

Doesn’t show like a typical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, but very tasty.

A great wine to drink by the pool. Crisp, refreshing and tangy. Fruit forward and rich.

I had it all by itself. Kosher and vegan.

Matua Wines Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016, New Zealand

Light yellow in color with a green hue.

On the nose grapefruits,
grass, citrus, lemons, green apples and bitter herbs.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with grapefruits, limes, lemons, green apples, bitter herbs, spices and white pepper.

Medium finish with bitter almonds.

This Marlborough sauvignon blanc is refreshing and crisp with mouthwatering acidity and a nice finish. Very much like a spicy grapefruit juice on the nose and palate. Better than their Rosé, though.

Needs to be very chilled. I paired it with cheeses, dried fruits and nuts.

Grove Mill Wairau Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2014 Marlborough, New Zealand

Pale lemon in color with a green hue.

Strong nose of cat’s pee (on a wet carpet), grapefruits, limes, green vegetables, spices, cooked asparagus, and white pepper. Pretty stinky, but in a good way.

Medium on the body and crisp with high acidity.

Dry on the palate with grapefruits, limes, lemons, green apples, bitter herbs, spices, green vegetables and black pepper.

Medium finish with bitter almonds.

This is a refreshing Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand. Not very balanced, but a good food wine nonetheless. Showing mild complexity and stinky, with lots of vegetable notes. This was probably better a couple of years ago.

I paired it with fresh oysters and horseradish, which went great together.

Loveblock Vintners Sauvignon Blanc 2016 Marlborough, New Zealand

Pale lemon in color with a light golden hue.

Nice nose of citrus, grapefruits, lime juice, gooseberry, spices, green apples, minerals, light tropical fruits and bitter herbs.

Medium plus in body with high acidity, crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with grapefruits, limes, spices, herbs, green apples, bitter vegetables, citrus and white pepper.

Medium plus in finish with bitter almond.

This is a nice Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, made by Kim Crawford. Not very complex, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Good by itself or with food, a little bitter on the finish and better when properly chilled.

90 points Wine Enthusiasts, but I couldn’t get there. I prefer the less expensive Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc.

I paired it with cheeses, crackers and all kinds of different jams.

Medium bodied with high acidity and nice legs. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with grapefruits, citrus, green apples, bitter herbs, grass, light vegetables and white pepper.

Medium plus in finish with limes and bitter almonds.

This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc always delivers. Nicely balanced with mild complexity, and a slight bitter ending.

This vintage does not seem to show much of the tropical fruits, like previous ones did. Very refreshing when properly chilled.

I paired it with ahi tuna and a calamari salad, which matched perfectly.

Prophecy Wines High Priestess Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015, New Zealand

Strong nose of gooseberry, grapefruits, green apples, light notes of tropical fruits ( lychee and pineapples), white pepper, minerals, spices, herbs and grass.

Light to medium in body, crisp and refreshing, with bright acidity.

Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green apples, grapefruits, minerals, limes, light vegetables and white pepper.

Nice length on the finish with tangy limes and no bitterness.

This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is very pleasurable by itself as a sipping wine. Well balanced with mild complexity.

Good food wine too, or even for parties. In the last few years, I grew to love that cat pee nose that is associated with most Marlboro Sauvignon Blancs.

Better after 15 minutes and properly chilled.

Starborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015 Marlborough, New Zealand

Nice length on the finish with limes and spices.

This Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is crisp and refreshing.
Simple and enjoyable with a bitter ending. Not completely balanced, but still nice.

Good by itself or with food. I had it by the pool all by itself.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity, crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruit juice, white pepper, minerals, spices, cream, citrus and green apples.

Medium finish with crisp acidity.

This simple Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, is nice and refreshing. Not too bitter and I liked that. Balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.

Good as a sipping wine on a hot day.

I paired it with a spicy cauliflower appetizer.

Long finish with grapefruits.

A very enjoyable Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Well balanced with nice complexity.
Enjoyable by itself or with food. I paired it with spicy Thai food.
