This is a nice and enjoyable white Bordeaux. Easy drinking and good for parties. A little spicy, which makes it interesting.

Good by itself and better with food. I paired it with cheeses and crackers.

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Fermented in Oak barrels, and aged on its lees for 10 months. Kosher and not Mevushal.

This is a delicious dessert wine from France. Sweet on the palate with great complexity.

Showing honey, yellow apples, apricots, spices, sweet nectar, white wild flowers, melons, brown sugar and spices.

Medium bodied with high acidity.

Well balanced with enough acidity to balance the sugars.

This 8 year old will continue age nicely in the next 40 years.

This is a very tasty Sémillon from Mendocino County in California. Fruit forward with nice acidity. Showing mild complexity, interesting and refreshing.

This 4 year old is nicely balanced and good right out of the bottle.

Good by itself or with food, and better when properly chilled.

A good quality wine. Would be interesting to try it again in 3 to 5 years.

Aged for 10 months in neutral French Oak barrels, on its lees.

This is a very nice white Bordeaux. Crisp and good right out of the bottle. Even better after some air time.

This 4 year old is drinking very nicely now which is nice to see. Nicely balanced, and still fresh and crisp.

Good by itself and better with food. I paired it with meats and cheeses. paired very nicely with the duck liver Pâté.

A blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon. Aged in French oak barrels (33% new).

Château Bechereau Philipperie Grand Vin de Sauternes 1983 Bordeaux, France

This is a nicely aged sweet wine from Bordeaux.

Brownish in color with a brick hue.

Great nose, although a little stinky, with honey, vegetables, herbs, wet leaves, citrus and Indian spices light curry and cumin.

Medium plus in body and buttery, with medium plus acidity.

Sweet on the palate with limes, citrus, honey, apples, earth, wood, over ripened pears, honey, Indian spices and black pepper.

This is an interesting sweet wine, but i prefer these younger.

This 36 year old is nicely balanced and enjoyable by itself. Not too sweet, with a lot of complexity. A little bitter on the ending. Spicy and tangy.

I paired it with a Macadamia Nut ice cream.

The nose is very overwhelming, so I figured I need to give it a day to chill out, which was a great idea.

Next day update: It’s good that I didn’t post my review yesterday, as this is a nice surprise. A tastier wine today.

Lost most of the bitter and vegetables notes, and it is showing very nicely.

If you have one, let it open up for a long time. Delicious and complex.

Pale lemon in color.

Pronounced nose of dried fruits, over ripen citrus fruits, red apples, apricots and Mediterranean spices. Nice and complex.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity. A little buttery and watery.

Dry on the palate with limes, green apples, grapefruits, over ripen citrus fruits, spices and black pepper.

Medium finish with bitter almonds and herbs.

This is a nice 28 year old white Bordeaux. Spicy and tangy and not crisp any longer.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up. After 30 minutes of airtime, honey and maple notes show up. Very interesting and special, with nice complexity. Oxidized, but very tasty. Died after 2 hours.

Drank from half bottle.

I paired it with Brie cheese and crackers.

This is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc from Pessac-Léognan. Crisp and refreshing with nice weight and complexity.

Nose is gentle and elegant. The palate is crisp, dry and rich.

Showing citrus, lemons, spices, light wood, green apples, grapefruits and minerals.

Nice length on the finish with limes and minerals.

A Good quality wine. Definitely my favorite white Bordeaux so far.

This 5 year old is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to evolve in the next 5 years.

Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and show more complexity.

A blend of 85% Sémillon and 15% Sauvignon Blanc. Aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels.

Dark gold in color.

Beautiful nose of lemons, citrus, spices, honey, butterscotch, carmel, hazelnut, mango, apricot and minerals.

Full bodied, buttery and bold, with high acidity and nice legs.

Sweet on the palate with citrus, lemon grind, oranges, honey, peaches, nuts, apricots and Mediterranean spices.

Long finish with honey suckle and spices.

This first growth sweet wine is a delicious one from Bordeaux. Showing great complexity and mouthfeel. Big and bold, sweet and well balanced.

This one can be aged for a long long time, although it is so yummy now.

This 2011 vintage was magnificent in Sauternes. Tasty, complex and delicious. I loved it.
