This is a very interesting white wine from San Diego County in California.

Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate and fruit forward.

Showing limes, over ripen citrus fruits, herbs, lemons, honeysuckle, spices and bitter almonds.

Tart and spicy on the finish.

A nice food wine. Easy drinking, crisp and refreshing.

Feels like a white wine from southern Italy, but fruiter.

Very high in alcohol, so you better watch out.

14.7% alcohol by volume.

Dark purple in color with a purplish rim.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity. Smooth and elegant.

Dry on the palate and fruit forward.

Showing blackberries, cooked plums, spices, light oak, licorice, herbs, light black tea and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with soft tannins and cranberries.

This 5 year old Syrah from San Diego County is drinking very nicely. Peaking now. Spicy, tangy and interesting.

Needs 30 minutes to open up properly and remove some of the acidity.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

Aged in French oak barrels for 20 months. A tiny production of only about 250 bottles.

Reddish in color with medium intensity and a wide reddish/ purplish rim.

Pretty nose of Mediterranean spices, blueberries, black plums, overripe cherries, tobacco leaf, milk chocolates, light oak, earth and black pepper.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, cherries, peppercorn, spices, light oak, wet leaves, herbs, dark chocolates, red chili pepper and earth.

Long tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 7 year old is showing very nice complexity. Elegant and easy drinking. Fruit forward, gentle and warm.

Good right out of the bottle and better after 30 minutes of airtime.

Spicy, entertaining and very engaging. Loved the nose and kept smelling on it for a while.

Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

Aged in Hungarian Oak barrels for 30 months. A small production of less than 300 bottles.
