Pretty color of ruby with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.

Fruity nose of bing cherries, wood and chocolate notes.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry and fruit forward on the palate with red cherries, currants, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates and light earth.

Tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice surprise. This one year old Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley is already drinking very nicely. Needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature properly, as it was just bottled a month ago.

Nicely balanced with mild complexity. Soft and elegant.

I’ve had a few vintages of this wine, and it always delivers. Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

Abeja Winery Columbia Valley Merlot 2016, Washington State


Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Full bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing black plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, chocolates, herbs, earth, light vegetables, tobacco leaf, coffee and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious Merlot from Columbia Valley. Soft and supple. Tangy and interesting.

Easy drinking right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.

I had it blind, and called 2016 Washington State Merlot. Even a broken clock is right twice a day 😊

Good by itself or with food. I enjoyed it very much all by itself.

100% Merlot grapes were aged in (40% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months.

Light yellow in color with a dark golden tint.

Very automatic nose with citrus, ginger, tropical fruits and spices.

Medium-bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate, spicy and very interesting.

Showing apples, light grapefruits, bitter herbs, ginger, lychee, honey, pineapples, light Indian spices and black pepper

Medium finish with limes and bitter herbs.

This is a very enjoyable Gewurztraminer from Anderson Valley in california. Easy drinking and good by itself.

Nicely balanced and spicy. Fresh and crisp.

Showing nice complexity and better with some air time.

I was surprised by the high alcohol, but it is well integrated, so watch out.

Golden in color.

Very aromatic on the nose with honey and wild flowers.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Off dry on the palate and creamy, with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.

Showing citrus, yellow apples, lemons, tropical fruits, spices, honeysuckle, melons, ripe pears, honey, black pepper and light diesel.

Nice smooth finish with honey and spices.

This is a very tasty and easy drinking Gewurztraminer from Anderson Valley in california. Creamy and rich with a soft mouthfeel.

Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine.

Nicely balanced with enough acidity to balance the extra sugars.

Better when properly chilled, and good for the pool and for parties.

R. Lopez de Heredia Vinã Bosconia Rioja Reserva 2010, Spain



Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing black currants, plums, sour cherries, light oak, spices, peppercorn, dark coffee, tobacco leaf, earth, wet leaves and herbs.

Short finish with round tannins and tangy pomegranates.

This 13 year old is showing nice complexity now. Tasty and a good food wine.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

This 2010 vintage was probably the best vintage in Rioja in the last 20 years. So nice to try these kind of wines.

Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, so be patient.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

A blend of 80% Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha with Graciano and Mazuelo. Aged for 5 years in used American oak barrels.

Very light salmon in color. Elegant looking.

Tangy finish with limes.

This is a nice and easy drinking Rosé from Mendocino County. Nicely balanced with a touch of RS.

A good everyday wine. Crisp and refreshing.

Good by itself as a sipping wine by the porch or pool.

Organic and vegan.

This is a nice and easy drinking Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley. A nice sipping wine.

Nicely balanced with mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel. Tangy and interesting.

Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years.

Good right out of the bottle, good by itself and a good porch wine. I paired it with cheeses by the lake.

A unique blend of 80% Pinot Noir, 10% Syrah and 10% Petite Sirah.
