Chimney Rock Winery Alpine Vineyard Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Napa Valley, California

It’s time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a great Cabernet Sauvignon.

Full bodied and smooth, with good balance and structure.

Dry and very fruity on the palate with medium acidity.

Showing blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, earth, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 8 year old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is gorgeous. Rich and extracted, yet elegant with nice complexity.

A beautiful wine that will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

This Single Vineyard is delicious right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime. It’s definitely worth the wait.

A great sipping wine, and will pair nicely with a big piece of steak too.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

94 points.

$125.
