This is a great 9 year old Rioja red, with an earthy nose and fruitier on the palate. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing lots of complexity with a tangy finish and a nice mouthfeel.
I had it a year ago, and this time it is much better. It is now in its drinking age, and will get better in the next 5 years.
Needs 2 hours to open up properly.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of Meats and cheeses.
14% alcohol by volume.
