For Sauvignon Blanc day, which was 2 days ago, here’s my SB celebration wine.
Pale lemon in color with a green hue.
A typical Marlborough nose, with gooseberry, limes, grapefruits, citrus, minerals, white pepper and metals.
Medium plus in body, with bright acidity and nice legs. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with grapefruits, citrus, butter, lemons, almonds, green apples, green vegetables, spices and herbs.
Medium plus on the finish with limes and bitter almonds.
A nice Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough New Zealand.
Refreshing and dry, with nice acidity and balanced. Simple and drinkable by itself or with food.
A nice porch wine with a tangy finish.
I paired it with gorgeous weather and the pool. This is a good sipper.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
