Shannon Ridge Cross Springs Colusa County Pinot Noir 2014, California

My Rating 83 Points.

Price $13.

A Very light brick In color with a wide orange rim.

Light nose of strawberries, light cherries, red currants, wood and spices. very simple.

Light bodied with medium acidity and soft.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, strawberries, vegetables, wood, animal notes, bitter herbs, light black pepper and carmel.

Short finish with extremely soft tannins and bitter vegetables.

This inexpensive Pinot Noir surprised me, actually. Balanced and drinkable. A nice everyday red wine from California.
Simple with a soft mouthfeel. A good wine to pair with foods like chicken or pork dishes.

Might have oxidized a little, although the cork seems intact.

13.9% alcohol by volume.
