Very nice color of deep ruby with a short reddish rim.
Strong nose of blackberries, sweet plums, blueberries, currants, alcohol, peppercorn, spices, pencil lead, earth, wood, vegetables, vinaigrette spices and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, earth, plums, oak, chocolates, light vanilla, tar, vegetables, herbs, spices and black pepper.
Medium on the finish with firm tannins and tart cranberries.
This Argentinian Malbec Blend is still young. Needs 2 more years in the bottle to mature and loosen up. Still unbalanced with nice complexity and a tangy ending.
Better after 2 hours in a decanter.
A blend of 79% Malbec, 11% Bonarda and 10% Syrah.
14% alcohol by volume.
