Nice fruity nose with black currants, plums, cherries, chocolates, smoke, licorice, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco and black pepper.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
Fruity on the palate with plums, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn and spices.
Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and black pepper.
A Nice Zinfandel from Lodi, California. Easy drinking and not bold. Well balanced and simple.
Good right out of the bottle and good for parties.
Enjoyable by itself or with food.
I paired it with small appetizers and cheeses.
