My Rating 90 Points.
Light copper in color with a light orange/ brick rim.
Strong nose of Indian spices, cinnamon, melons, citrus, alcohol, smoke, honey, brown sugar, sweet white candy and black pepper.
Full bodied, buttery and smooth, with high acidity and great long legs.
Tangy on the attack and sweet on the palate with ripe red apples, raisins, honey, lemons, dried figs, chocolates, nuts, Mediterranean spices and citrus.
Long finish with tangy cranberries and limes.
This sweet wine is very unique. Sweet, with lots of acidity to make it balanced. The flavors were very hard to figure out here. They are extremely blended together.
Nice, soft, smooth mouthfeel with bright acidity that makes it interesting at the ending. Good by itself or with desert.
I received it as a gift about 12 years ago, and don’t know anything about it. It is a Non-Vintage, but I know it’s at least 13 years old, and it is showing Nice complexity now.
The cork crumbled all over the bottle and I had to strain it to a decanter.
