Georges Vigouroux Cuvée Joëlle Sauvignon Blanc & Loin de L’oiel IGP 2015, France

My Rating 82 Points.

Price $19.

Light golden in color with a yellow tint.

Nice nose of white flowers, lemons, citrus, minerals, tangerines, grass and white pepper.

Light to medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, sea salt, white pepper and light vegetables.

Short finish with bitter almonds and white pepper.

A nice white blend from France.
A little off balance, but drinkable nonetheless, with mild complexity.
Very enjoyable when paired with food. Good with salads or seafood.

The important part is that my wife liked it…

A blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Loin de L’oiel.

12.5% alcohol by volume.
