Amphorae Wines Makura Cabernet Sauvignon 2008, Israel

My Rating 96 Points.

Price $55.

Gorgeous color of dark ruby with a purple rim.

Wonderful nose of cherries, blueberries, blackberries, figs, plums, coke, earth, licorice, tar, chocolates, vanilla and black pepper.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, cherries, vanilla, plums, earth, cranberries, forest floor, dark chocolates, cola, cloves, dry meats and peppercorn.

Full-bodied and round, smooth and elegant with medium acidity and great looking legs.

Long finish with round tannins and black pepper.

An excellent wine. Great by itself or with grilled Meats.

Aged in New French Oak barrels for 36 months. Grapes are hand picked from the Golan Heights Appellation.

15% alcohol by volume.
