A nice deep burgundy in color with a wide purplish rim.
Plesent nose of sweet cherries, blueberries, black currants, oak, smoke, chocolates, vanilla, licorice, mint, dust, earth and light peppercorn.
Medium bodied and elegant, with medium acidity and nice legs.
Fruity and dry on the palate, with blackberries, plums, cherries, currants, wood, light vanilla, tobacco, chocolates, earth, leather, light green vegetables and black pepper.
Nice finish with soft tannins and sour cherries.
A very nice red blend from France. Inexpensive and enjoyable by itself or with food. A Good sipping wine, gentle, with an elegant mouthfeel.
Good pretty much right out of the bottle, and gets better in the glass. Good now, while still young. I liked this vintage better than the previous ones.
A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot.
13% alcohol by volume.
