Bodega Paniza Agostón Granacha & Syrah 2015, Spain

My Rating 85 Points.

Price $6.
Beautiful purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Medium intensity on the nose of fresh red fruits, with black cherries, sweet raspberries, strawberries, light oak, light vanilla, licorice, earth, spices and black pepper.

Medium bodied and smooth, with medium acidity and light legs.

Extremely fruity on the palate, yet dry, with sweet raspberries, cherries, strawbery jam, black plums, rose petals, earth, red candy, spices, wet rocks and black pepper.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

What a nice Spanish red. Simple, balanced and fresh. Has a lot of fruits with nice acidity to balance it out. Best to drink it while still fresh, not one for aging. Good right out of the bottle. Enjoyable by itself and drinks like a juice, so watch out…

This is a nice surprise from Trader Joe’s. Great price for a good everyday red wine.

A good party wine, and it’s a twist off, so you can take it anywhere.

A blend of 50% Grenacha and 50% Syrah.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
