Root: 1 Sauvignon Blanc 2015, Casablanca Valley, Chile

My Rating 81 Points.

Price $10.

Very light golden in color with a greenish hue.

Strong Nose of cooked asparagus, bell peppers, green vegetables, white pepper, minerals, lemons, limes and almonds.

Medium plus in body, crisp and refreshing, with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with limes, green vegetables, bell pepper, green herbs, cream and white pepper.

Medium finish with bitter almonds.

A very interesting Sauvignon Blanc from Chile. A pungent nose of asparagus that overwhelms everything else, with a bitter ending.

A good food wine, but one not one to sip on by the pool.

12.5% alcohol by volume.
