Deep inky in color with a purplish rim.
Light nose of blueberries, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, earth and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with high acidity and fat legs.
Tart on the attack, and dry on the palate, with blackberries, black currants, plums, cherries, chocolates, smoke, licorice, cloves, herbs, earth, leather and peppercorn.
Medium finish with angular tannins, sour cranberries and black pepper.
This Argentinian Malbec is very young and still unbalanced. Too harsh to drink by itself, but a good food wine. Would pair nicely with grilled meats.
Needs a couple of hours in a decanter to open up properly.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
