Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards Southern White 2015, Florida

My Rating 85 Points.

Price $11.

Yellowish in color with a golden hue.

Very aromatic on the nose with lemons, honeysuckle, citrus, white flowers, tropical fruits, kiwi, light banana, melons, honey, red apples and sweet figs.

Full bodied and bold with high acidity.

Sweet on the palate with lemons, honey, apples, melons, sweet candy and herbs.

Long and soft finish with honey.

A very nice white wine from Central Florida. Very enjoyable by itself, just to sip on. Nicley balanced with great acidity to balance the sweetness.
Not complex, but rather drinks more like juice. (The bottle finished way too quickly…)
Needs to be properly chilled.

Made with Muscadine grapes grown in Central Florida.

I paired it with soft goat cheese and nice company.

11% alcohol by volume.
