My Rating 92 Points.
Price $55.
Dark ruby in color with a brick rim.
Light fruits on the nose with blackberries, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cedar, cloves and light black pepper.
Full-bodied and smooth, with high acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with oak, cola, vanilla, blackberries, blueberries, figs, cherries, earth, black pepper and dirt.
Long finish with firm tannins.
This is a great 9 year old, Unfiltered, Cabernet Sauvignon from Israel. Nicely aged and drinks well right now by itself, or with a big piece of steak.
Great as a sipping wine too.
Smooth and elegant with a nice balance.
90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot. Aged for 21 months in mainly French Oak barrels.
14% alcohol by volume.
Thank you for this one! We’ve had Segal Fusion and, well, ok, but we’ll look for this cab.

I’ve had other Segals before as well, but nothing like this one. Look for the Unfiltered, which is what makes the difference here.
