My Rating 87 Points.
Price $14.

It’s Malbec World Day today ! For the occasion, I opened this nice Argentinian Malbec last evening.

Deep Purple/ Inky in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity on the nose with raspberries, blackberries, currants, smoke, cherries, vanilla, cedar, leather, barnyard, spices and peppercorn.

Full bodied with medium plus acidity and nice looking legs.

Tart on the attack and fruity on the mid at palate with blackberries, blueberries, figs, black currants, earth, cherries, strawberries, cranberries, chocolates, tobacco, espresso, and peppercorn.

Long finish with soft tannins and sour cherries.

This is a nice Malbec from Mendoza.
Enjoyable by itself or with meat dishes. Wasn’t very balanced at first, though. Too much acidity for the fruits and not enough structure. Much more balanced on the next day. So make sure you decant it for 3 to 4 hours.

Made with organic grapes, hand picked at 3600 feet elevation. Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.

92 points Wine & Spirits.

14.5% alcohol by volume.
