My Rating 87 Points.
Dark Ruby in color with medium intensity and a light purplish rim.
Fruity on the nose with blueberries, plums, cherries, strawberry pie, light green pepper, minerals, licorice, vanilla, earth, pencil lead and black pepper.
Medium-bodied and smooth, with great legs and medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, cherries, pomegranate, lemon(?), earth, licorice, light vegetables and peppercorn.
Long finish with full, velvety tannins and lots of black pepper.
An enjoyable Côtes du Rhône. Sophisticated enough to have it by itself (with a friend of course), and Well balanced.
It changed dramatically after an hour, but easy drinking and approachable, right out of the bottle.
My review is taken after an hour in the decanter. It started at 82 and jumped to 87 points. Nice journey in the glass…
