Whitecliff Vineyard & Winery Reserve Riesling 2013, New York

image

My Rating 93 Points.
Price $25.

My first New York State Riesling, and what a nice surprise.

Pale gold in color with a light yellow hue.

Wonderful nose of tropical fruits, spices, lemons, gooseberry, white flowers, citrus and minerals.

Medium to full-bodied with a great mouth feel and buttery. Medium plus acidity with great legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with lemons, tropical fruits, bananas, coconut, cream, minerals and salt.

Long finish with white pepper and almonds.

Smooth, elegant and enjoyable by itself and Very well balanced. Just wonderful.

This is my first Finger Lake wine, and it is wonderful. Hopefully this continues…

The grapes are from the Hudson Valley, and fermentation is made in Stainless Steel. Vegan wine too.

12% alcohol by volume.

  1. I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out
a developer to create your theme? Exceptional work!
