Mony Vineyard Malbec Reserve 2013, Israel

image

My Rating 75 Points.
Price $18.

Deep Purple in color with a thin purplish rim.

Fruity on the nose with cherries, blackberries, black currants, metals, black pepper and nail polish remover.

Full bodied with medium acidity.

Flat on the mid palate, and fruity, with cherries, strawberries, blackberries, vanilla, oak, blueberries and peppercorn.

Short finish with very soft and flat tannins.

This is not an interesting Malbec at all, flat and unbalanced yet drinkable. Not one to buy again.

So far, I have not enjoyed any of the wines from this Winery.

13% alcohol by volume.
