My Rating 82 Points.
Price $25.

Dark ruby in color with a light purple rim.

Tart on the nose with cherries, strawberries, red currants, vanilla, licorice, earth, wood, forest floor, metals and white pepper.

Medium-bodied with high acidity and gorgeous legs.

Tart and dry on the palate with cherries, cranberries, pomegranate, earth, wood, licorice, light vanilla and black pepper.

Long finish with soft, round tannins and tart cherries.

This is a nice blend of 72% Zinfandel, 14% Petite Sirah and 14% Mourvedre.

Reminded me of an Italian Primitivo more than the American Zinfandel. Nice, old world, food wine with a new world feel. The wine is named after John Lennon.

Aged for 18 months in American oak barrels.

13.8% alcohol by volume.
