image

My Rating 84 Points.
Price $12.

Deep purple in color with a lighter purple rim.

Great fruity nose with blackberries, sweet cherries, blueberries, strawberry jam, light bell pepper, wildflowers, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, metals and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and gorgeous legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, cherries, raspberries, black currants, Cola, plums, cedar, vanilla, eucalyptus, licorice, spices and peppercorn.

Nice and spicy finish with round tannins and tart strawberries.

This Malbec Is from grapes sourced at the foothills of the Andes. Aged for 9 months in oak barrels. Drinking nicely now, well-balanced and not as harsh as last year. Needs to open up, for at least an hour in a decanter to get this nice result. Paired it with a cheese plate, but it will go nicely with Argentinian Asado.

14% alcohol by volume.
