Deep ruby color with a red / purple rim.
Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, cherries, oak, vanilla, plums, smoke, spices, licorice, and lots of black pepper.
Medium plus in body with high acidity and great looking legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, blackberries, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, wood, tobacco, vanilla, tar, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Medium + on the finish with soft tannins, tart cherries and spices.
This is a nice everyday Malbec. Not expensive and very enjoyable. Well balanced now, and probably at its peak.
Grapes were grown at high altitudes in Mendoza, Argentina.
14% alcohol by volume.
