Barak Vineyard Varod (Pink) Rosé 2013 Judea Hills, Israel

image

My Rating 82 Points.
Price $15.

Dark Salmon in color with a light orange rim.

Light on the nose with strawberries, cherries, lemons, citrus and grapefruits.
Medium bodied, crisp and refreshing with nice legs, for a Rosé.

Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, citrus, grapefruit, spices and white pepper.

Medium finish with a slightly bitter ending.

This is a nice, refreshing yet simple Rosé. Good food wine, but nice by itself by the pool, too.

Made from 100% Carignan grapes. Better when extremely chilled.

14% alcohol by volume.
