image

My Rating 85 Points.
Price $22.

Deep purple in color with a purplish rim. Teeth staining color.

Medium intensity on the nose of sweet blackberries, sweet plums, brandy, licorice, oak, black currants, cedar, tar, black cherries, spices and peppercorn.

Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.

Fruity on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, plums, figs, cherries, currants, bitter vegetables, wood, licorice, dark chocolate, cola, black pepper and spices.

Medium plus on the finish with full, green tannins and peppercorn.

This young Petite Syrah is great by itself or with a nice steak. Will age in the next 3 years, and smooth out nicely.
Needs an hour to open up properly.

14.5% alcohol by volume.
